INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis men's soccer team prepares to open conference tournament play this weekend at Key Stadium. The No. 3-seeded Hounds are set to battle No. 6-seeded Rockhurst beginning at 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday.
Â
Back on Oct. 7, the Greyhounds (9-3-3, 7-3-2 GLVC) traveled to Kansas City, Mo., and took down the Hawks (7-3-5, 6-3-3 GLVC) by a 1-0 final. The match was mostly a defensive showdown until the 84th minute when
Bryan Moreira broke the scoreless tie and led UIndy to victory. The last time UIndy lost to Rockhurst in a men's soccer match was back during the 2017 season.
Â
The winner of this match is set to play the winner of No. 2 seed Lewis and No. 7 seed Truman.
