GAME 10
vs. 20 Truman Bulldogs (8-1, 5-0 GLVC)
Saturday | November 12 | 2 p.m. ET
A pair of top-20 teams go head-to-head at Key Stadium this Saturday with the
GLVC trophy and a
potential playoff spot hanging in the balance. No. 20 Truman State University visits the Circle City to take on 14th-ranked UIndy in a 2 p.m. kick. Both teams are 8-1 overall and a perfect 5-0 in conference play.
UIndy is looking to up its league-high total of GLVC crowns to eight, while Truman is searching for GLVC championship No. 2 and first-ever outright title (it shared the 2016 title with Southwest Baptist). Meanwhile, Truman and UIndy are ranked sixth and seventh, respectively, in the latest
Super Region 3 rankings. The region's top seven teams will qualify for postseason play.
The Greyhounds own an
8-1 all-time record versus Truman. Last November, the Hounds came out on top in a gritty defensive battle,
13-10. UIndy scored 10 points in the fourth quarter, including a game-winning 40-yard field goal from
Paul Buisman with just 19 seconds left.
Saturday is also Senior Day for the football program. UIndy will honor a total of 20 seniors prior to kickoff.
