WACO, Texas – The playoff-bound UIndy football team will enter the postseason as the No. 13 squad in the nation, according to the final regular season AFCA Division II Coaches Poll. The Greyhounds (9-1) have been ranked in the top 25 for each of the last 11 weeks, including five weeks in the top 15.

With the announcement of the 2022 postseason field last night, the Hounds locked up their seventh postseason berth since 2012 and first since '19. UIndy will travel to third-seeded and No. 4-ranked Pittsburg State for a first-round Super Region Three matchup on Saturday, Nov. 19.

The top-seeded team in the region, Grand Valley State, finished the season undefeated while topping in regular-season coaches poll. All seven SR3 playoff teams appear in the current national rankings, including Ouachita Baptist (3), Pitt State (4), Ferris State (4), Northwest Missouri St. (8) and Davenport (21).
The AFCA will release its final poll of 2022 after the conclusion of the playoffs in late December.
