The UIndy football team begins its GLVC title defense this weekend when it travels to McKendree University to battle the Bearcats. Originally scheduled as an afternoon clash, kickoff was moved to 8 p.m. Eastern due to safety concerns over anticipated high temperatures in the area.

UIndy owns a healthy 13-1 lead in the all-time series, with McKendree's only win coming in 2023. Last year, the Greyhounds racked up more than 600 yards of total offense in a 47-19 Homecoming rout over the visiting Bearcats.
