GREENWOOD, Ind.— The 2022 Academic All-District® Football Teams, as selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Four Greyhounds appeared among the honorees, including Kednal Alexis, Aaron Barnett, JaQuan Buchanan and Brandon Thomas.
 
All honorees must meet the minimum requirement of a 3.5 cumulative GPA while also making significant on-the-field contributions. True freshman and first-year transfers were not eligible.
 
All four UIndy honorees did just that while also earning inclusion the GLVC's postseason award list. They now move on to CSC Academic All-America® consideration, with voting commencing today and the final announcement scheduled for Dec. 20.
