INDIANAPOLIS - A huge match is coming up for the No. 3-seeded UIndy men's soccer team, who is set to battle No. 2 seed Lewis in the GLVC Championship Tournament semifinals on Friday in St. Louis at noon ET. Entering this match, the Hounds ranks sixth in the
Super-Region 3 rankings while the Flyers hold the No. 9 spot.
The Greyhounds (10-3-3, 7-3-2 GLVC) have made the GLVC semifinals for three straight seasons and are currently chasing a fourth GLVC tournament title in program history. However, with a tournament crown and the regional rankings hanging in the balance, the Flyers (10-4-2, 7-3-2 GLVC) are eager for another victory to keep their season alive. Back on Sept. 25 of this season, Lewis took down UIndy by a
final of 1-0 in Romeoville, Ill. This was the first time the Flyers have beaten the Hounds since the 2017 season.
In preparation for the match, head coach
Gabe Hall and junior forward
Caleb Mundell sat down and discussed the recent
Rockhurst win in the quarterfinals, and what they expect from the Flyers coming up. Click
