INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis men's soccer team will be heading back to the NCAA Division II Tournament for a third-consecutive time after earning a No. 7 seed in the Super Region 3. This marks the sixth NCAA tournament appearance for UIndy in program history.
The Hounds (10-4-3, 7-3-2 GLVC) will be traveling to Ashland, Ohio, to battle No. 10-seeded Wisconsin-Parkside (10-3-4, 7-1-4 GLIAC) in an opening round contest. The winner of that match will have a chance at taking on the top-seeded Ashland Eagles in the second round of the regional.
UIndy is one of four GLVC teams competing in the NCAA tournament this year. Maryville collects a No. 3 seed while Illinois Springfield earns a No. 5 seed and Lewis garners a No. 6 seed.
The Greyhounds have made back-to-back Final Four appearances heading into this years tournament. UIndy and Parkside are set to kickoff on Friday at noon ET in Ashland.
