INDIANAPOLIS – The time has finally arrived for the UIndy indoor track & field teams to open the 2022-23 campaign. The Hounds are set to host the UIndy Season Opener on Saturday afternoon in the ARC beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET.
 
Last season, the men's team took fifth place out of 14 competing programs at the GLVC championships. The women earned second out of 13 teams and ended up tying for seventh at the NCAA Indoor DII Championships a few weeks later.
 
In preparation for the upcoming season, director of track & field/cross country Scott Fangman, thrower Keeton Adams, and distance runners Mariah Davis and Dryden Dodson-Thomas sat down for a short video and discussed their expectations for the upcoming season.
