LOUISVILLE, KY – With the 2022 season days away, the awards for UIndy men's lacrosse continue to roll in.  The Hounds come in at No. 9 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Preseason poll while four players were named Preseason All-Americans.

Kyle Basch earned First Team honors while Drew Billig was named to the Second Team.  Brian Robb and Josh Jackson rounded out the selections for the Hounds on the Third Team.

Midfielder Basch picks up his second First Team Preseason All-American honor after coming off a Second Team All-American performance last season.  The GLVC Specialist of the Year grabbed 37 ground balls while causing 15 turnovers.  As a junior, he led the nation in caused turnovers per game while ranking 15th in ground balls per game.

This also marks the second Second Team Preseason All-American for Billig.  The attackman ranked sixth in the nation in points per game last year.  A First Team All-GLVC selection, Billig tallied 42 points on 19 goals and 23 assists.  Last season he became the fifth player in program history to eclipse 100 career points, currently sitting at 109 points.

Midfielder Robb was a Second-Team All-American last season after finishing ninth in the nation in ground balls per game.  He totaled 31 points on 15 goals and 16 assists as a junior and First Team All-GLVC selection.

Defenseman Jackson earned All-Region honors last season.  The British Columbia native grabbed 22 ground balls and caused 17 turnovers.  Offensively, Jackson added a pair of assists.
