LAS VEGAS—The UIndy men's golf team headed west this week for a pair of tournaments in Las Vegas. Senior
Cam Carroll took runner-up honors at the Warrior Invitational at the Stalllion Mountain Golf Club Monday and Tuesday, while a five-man Greyhound lineup tied for fourth place in a loaded field at the Las Vegas Desert Classic and The Legacy Golf Club.
WARRIOR INVITE
Carroll fired a second-round 69 to finish at -1 for the 36-hole event – two shots back of medalist Dawson Wills of Washburn. It marked the second top-10 performance this season for the East Lansing, Mich., native.
Ian Carroll joined his brother at Stallion Mountain, carding scores of 78-77 to finish at +11 and share 40th place.
DESERT CLASSIC
Meanwhile, UIndy's quintet combined for a one-under 287 on the third and final day at The Legacy, climbing three spots to tie for fourth among the 19-team field. The competition included a number of highly-ranked Division II teams, eight of which were ranked in the top 25 by Golfstat.

Oliver Mast had the most consistent tournament, shooting 70-73-72 to finish at one-under and share third overall. He racked up eight birdies over three rounds, including a stretch of four consecutive birds on the front nine on Sunday.
CJ Jones earned his second top-20 finish in as many tournaments this spring, using a final-round 70 to move up to T-10. Senior
Jacob Nickell matched Jones' Tuesday tally to settle at 20th.
Keegan Bronnenberg (+8) tied for 35th place, followed by
Bryce Robertson (+24) in 88th.
