NEW ORLEANS– The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its annual all-region honorees for the 2021-22 indoor track & field season, with seven different Greyhounds combining for accolades in 11 separate events. Berenice Cleyet-Merle (800, mile, 3K, DMR), Ellie Lengerich (high jump, DMR), Ben Nagel (800), Zoe Pentecost (weight throw), Makala Pfefferkorn (triple jump), Eline Pinter (DMR), Emily Sonderman (DMR) all made the exclusive All-Midwest Region list.
 
The top five individuals in each event from each region earned all-region distinction, in addition to each of the members of the regions' top three relay teams. The eight regions include the Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West.
 
The 2021-22 indoor season concludes this weekend with the NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field Championships, set for March 11-12 in Pittsburg, Kan. Seven student-athletes will be representing UIndy at the national meet. Look for more information in the coming days right here at UIndyAthletics.com.
