The University of Indianapolis women's lacrosse team has earned the honor of being No. 2 in the nation as per the most recent IWLCA Poll as announced by officials on Monday morning.
 
The Hounds hold a current record of 12-1 record with a hot start to conference play with a 3-0 record in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
 
UIndy is currently second in the nation in scoring margin with 11.62, along with landing 29.54 shots on goal per game marking them second behind Queens.
 
Abigail Lagos has led the Greyhounds offense with 65 goals on the season, and just bypassed her 200^th career goal. Lagos currently holds second in the nation in goals per game with five, while sitting at first in the nation in shots on goal per game with 8.15. The Hounds have allowed only 72 goals this season compared to scoring 223.
 
 Audrey Moran has complied 10 wins in the net for the Greyhounds, notching 37 saves.
