SPARKS, Md. -Â Four UIndy women's lacrosse players earned IWLCA All-American distinction for the 2026Â season, the organization announced on Wednesday.
The quartet of
Malaena Michielin (1st team),
Olivia Bladon (2nd team),
Amanda Hurry (2nd team), and
Hollis Rang (3rd team) bring the program total of All-Americans to 27 with 17 different student-athletes recognized at various points. The likes of Bladon, Hurry and Rang were all awarded IWLCA All-American nods last season, but today marks the first career All-American honor for Michielin in her four-year Greyhound career.
Bladon capped her Greyhound career with her third IWLCA All-American honor, while Hurry and Rang have both added the second to their names in the last two seasons.Â
All four Hounds were also recognized with first team distinctions on theÂ
IWLCA All-Region list, as well asÂ
All-American status by USA Lacrosse Magazine just last week.
Bladon, Michielin and Rang concluded their time as Greyhounds in the NCAA Midwest Regional final this past weekend, capping distinguished careers which included an impressive 47 wins over the past three seasons,
a final four appearance, two NCAA Midwest Regional Final appearances, and an NCAA Tournament appearance in each of the past three seasons. Bladon and Michielin were apart of an NCAA Tournament team in all four years at UIndy, along with three Midwest Regional Final appearances.Â
Hurry has one year remaining in the Crimson and Grey, and continues to cement her name as one of the top defenders in program history, ranking third in Greyhounds history in caused turnovers (74) and sixth in ground balls (76).Â
