LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced its Division II All-Americans on Thursday, with four members of the UIndy men's lacrosse team earning recognition.  Kyle Basch brought home First Team honors while Drew Billig, Josh Jackson and Brendan Hackl were named to the Third Team.

This marks Basch's third career All-America honor and second of the 2022 season.  The two-time GLVC Specialty Player of the Year caused a team-high 30 turnovers on the season and added 58 ground balls.  The short-stick defensive midfielder recorded eight points off of three goals and five assists.  He finishes his career ranked second in program history with 61 career caused turnovers and second in ground balls at 144.

Billig snags his third career All-America honor after being named to the USA Lacrosse Magazine Second Team earlier this month.  The two-time All-GLVC First Team selection led the Hounds with 71 points this season off of 28 goals and 43 assists.  Entering the NCAA tournament, his 2.44 assists per game put him atop the GLVC and ninth in the nation.  Billig's 181 career points has him sitting second in program history, trailing only Parker Kump (2016-19) at 210.

Jackson earns his second All-America nod after bringing home All-Region Second Team honors earlier this week.  The defenseman recorded 54 ground balls on the year while adding 27 caused turnovers.  Jackson anchored a Greyhound defense that ranked fifth in the nation, allowing just 8.11 goals per game.

In his first year with the Greyhounds, grad student Hackl earned All-GLVC First Team honors, All-Region Second Team accolades, and now All-America Third Team distinction.  The long-stick midfielder caused 14 turnovers in the regular season along with 20 ground balls.  He scored his first career goal in an April victory against Rockhurst.

The four selections ties a program record for USILA All-America selections set last year, with Basch and Billig as repeat selections.  UIndy paced the GLVC with four honorees, followed by Lindenwood with three.
