GREENWOOD, Ind. – The 2021-22 Academic All-District® Track & Field/Cross Country Teams were announced Thursday, with a pair of UIndy student-athletes appearing on the list. Selected by members CoSIDA, Greyhound standouts Brittney Clark and Ben Nagel were both recognized for their combined performances in the competition realm and in the classroom.
 
A total of 23 men and women were named to the NCAA DII Academic All-District® 4 First Team, all of which will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. National honorees will be announced in late June.
 
Both UIndy student-athletes are off to Allendale, Mich., this week for the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships. Clark will be competing in the pole vault, while Nagel will race in the 800. Both are reigning GLVC champions and school record holders in their events.
 
In the classroom, Clark is a Biology major with a 3.78 cumulative GPA. Nagel, meanwhile, compiled a perfect 4.0 GPA in Actuarial Science.
