INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis men's lacrosse team earned a spot in the 2022 NCAA Division II men's lacrosse tournament on Sunday night, marking their third consecutive NCAA tournament appearance in program history.
The No. 5 seed Hounds will face a familiar opponent in the first round, traveling to Hickory, N.C. to take on the No. 4 seed Lenoir-Rhyne Bears at 4 pm ET on Wednesday. The two teams met in the first game of the season with UIndy prevailing 12-11.
The winner advances to the second round and will travel to the No. 1 seed Tampa Spartans who earned a First Round bye.
