INDIANAPOLIS – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the 2022 Academic Awards presented by Dynamic this week. The UIndy men's lacrosse team was awarded the Division II Team All-Academic Award while four Greyhounds were bestowed Division II Scholar All-Americans.
To be eligible for the Team All-Academic Awards, teams must have a GPA of at least 3.00. The Hounds posted a 3.15 GPA to earn the award for the second straight year. UIndy is one of 21 teams nationwide to earn the honor with Lynn University tabbing the overall highest GPA.
The Scholar All-American is given to academic seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA. This year 60 student-athletes from 27 institutions were honored.
UIndy's four selections are the most in program history. The Greyhounds honorees are Josh Jackson (3.95 – Business Administration), Brian Robb (3.42 – Business Administration), Austin Barnett (3.80 – Sports Marketing) and Kyle Basch (3.80 – Sport Management).
