PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The UIndy men's soccer team had three players named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-Midwest Region Second Team.
Pierre Lurot,
Owen Atkison and
Michael Tselios were the three Greyhounds honored.

This is the fourth accolade that Lurot has garnered this year. The French native was named to the All-GLVC First Team, the GLVC All-Tournament Team and the CSC DII Academic All-District Team. Earlier in the season, Lurot was also named GLVC Player of the Week on Sept. 2. The junior is a staple on the UIndy backline, starting in all 20 matches for the Greyhounds while only coming off the field for nine minutes the whole season. He currently has one goal, two assists and 17 shots this season.

Atkison was the next Hound mentioned, his third honor this season. The graduate student was also named to the All-GLVC Third Team and the CSC DII Academic All-District Team. Akison has entered the pitch in all 20 contests, currently having four goals, one assist, and 26 shots. He is the co-leader in goals.

Finally, Tselios was named to the second team as well. The Greece transplant was also named to the All-GLVC First Team and the CSC DII Academic All-District Team. Tselios is the co-leader in goals (four) while leading in assists (seven) and shots (49). The senior scored the game-winning goal against Southwest Baptist to send UIndy to the GLVC semifinal.
The Greyhounds continue their postseason efforts on Friday. The Greyhounds will face Lewis at 3 p.m. at home in Key Stadium.Â
