KANSAS CITY, Mo.—UIndy defensive lineman Justin Thomas was one of the select few named to the 2023 D2Football.com Elite 100, as released by the website this week. The annual list was compiled with input from coaches, scouts, media and sports information directors from around the country. Thomas was voted to the "squad" team and was the lone GLVC representative to earn inclusion.

A native of Floosmoor, Ill., Thomas spearheaded a relentless pass rush for the GLVC champs this past fall. He racked up seven sacks and 15.5 tackles for a loss, topping the conference in the latter category. He was voted to the All-GLVC First Team and helped the Hounds to a 9-2 record and NCAA playoff appearance.
