TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The UIndy men's and women's track and field team competed at the John Garland Invitational on Friday evening. This meet was hosted by Indiana State in Terre Haute, Ind.
Both men's and women's teams placed third at the meet. The men finished with 61 points and the women had 60 points.
WOMEN'S RECAP
Hailey Orosz took home first for the Greyhounds in the mile run, where she ran a 5:10.57 a new personal record.
Sabrina Robison placed second in the pole vault (3.76 meters) and placed second. Robinson reached a provisional in the pole vault.
Hallie Montgomery competed in the 200-meter (25.27 seconds, a personal record) and 60-meter (7.77 seconds) dash, where she placed second and third, respectively. In the 60-meter hurdles,
Ailliyah Reese earned a new personal record after she placed second in the 60-meter hurdles after finishing in 8.68 seconds.

MEN'S RECAP
In the men's high jump,
Alex Meyer jumped 2.03 meters, earning him first place. With this height, a freshman reached the provisional for the high jump. Meyer also competed in the long jump (6.88 meters) where he placed second.
Samuel Sommers was another Greyhound placed first. Sommers competed in the long jump and reached 7.17 meters, another provo for the Greyhounds. In the 800-meter run,
Liam Arthur placed second after finishing with a time of 2:03.44.
Harnoor Dosanjh placed second in the mile run after clocking a time of 4:25.06.
