The UIndy softball team enters the postseason this week, as the 2023 GLVC Championship Tournament kicks off Thursday at the EastSide Centre in East Peoria, Ill. The Greyhounds earned the No. 1 seed in the eight-team, double-elimination bracket and are scheduled to open versus eighth-seeded Drury University on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. ET.
 
Ranked No. 6 in the latest DII coaches poll, the Hounds racked up 47 wins in the regular season, good for their ninth 40-win campaign in the last 10 complete seasons. Their 20-3 record in conference play put them 4 1/2 games ahead of second-place UMSL, earning the GLVC regular season crown.
