TRACK AND FIELD
The UIndy track & field teams wrapped up a successful stay in Rolla, Mo., on Saturday, earning a top-three finish on both the men and women's sides. The Greyhound women notched a pair of event titles on the final day to hold on to second place in the final team standings, while the men capped the week with a gold medal in the 4x400 relay to claim third place.
 
The three-day conference showcase was held at Allgood-Bailey Stadium on the campus of Missouri S&T in Rolla, Mo., Thursday through Saturday. The Greyhounds now await the announcement of qualifiers for the upcoming NCAA DII Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The release will be made at NCAA.com on May 16, with the national meet slated for May 25-27 in Pueblo, Colo. NCAA TOURNAMENT BERTHS
Softball
For the 15th consecutive season, the UIndy softball team will be among the 64-team field at the NCAA Division II Softball Championship. The Greyhounds (50-8) earned the top seed in the Midwest Region and will host the first of two Midwest Regionals this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 11-13. Men's Lacrosse
The UIndy men's lacrosse is heading back to the NCAA tournament, earning a berth in the 2023 field as announced Sunday evening. The Greyhounds, seeded sixth in the South Region, will seek revenge in Wednesday's first round game at Wingate. Game time will be announced soon. Women's Lacrosse
The defending national champion UIndy women's lacrosse team is heading back to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth-consecutive time after the squad earned the No. 2 seed in the 2023 NCAA Division II Midwest Regional. Men's Tennis
The No. 5-ranked University of Indianapolis men's tennis is heading to Orlando, Fla. for the 2023 NCAA Division II Men's National Tennis Championships. The Hounds swept the No. 21-ranked Ferris State Bulldogs on Sunday to punch their ticket. BASEBALL
UIndy baseball earned a GLVC tournament birth after taking the series against Lewis. They also celebrated a group of seniors in the process. With the wins over Lewis, the No. 5-seed secured, the Hounds will have a more than familiar foe in the first round of this year's bracket, matching up with the Lewis Flyers. The Hounds and Flyers will battle it out on Thursday, May 11 at 9 a.m. as the opening contest for this year's championship. WOMEN'S TENNIS
The No. 10-ranked University of Indianapolis women's tennis team saw their season end at the hands of the Drury Panthers on Tuesday afternoon by a score of 4-2. The match, originally scheduled to be played outdoors at Center Grove High School, was moved inside to the UIndy Tennis Center. The Hounds end the season 17-6 with their fourth-straight GLVC Championship and their 13th NCAA tournament appearance. This season marks their eighth-straight year making the NCAA tournament.  UP NEXT
