Hounds Nab USTFCCCA Academic Honors

NEW ORLEANS – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its annual academic awards this week, with UIndy garnering multiple team and individual accolades. Both the Greyhound men's and women's squads earned All-Academic Team status, while five Greyhounds earned All-Academic honors as individuals.

Both UIndy teams maintained the minimum 3.00 cumulative team GPA to be considered for the award. The UIndy women compiled a 3.54 team GPA as one of 137 Division II women's teams on the list, while the Greyhound men's 3.11 team GPA put them among 112 men's squads to be recognized.

Meanwhile, individual honorees needed a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 while also achieving an automatic or provisional qualifying mark (individual or relay event) during either the indoor or outdoor season. Greyhounds to make the cut on the women's side included Emily Bonser, Brittney Clark, Zoe Pentecost and Ailliyah Reese. They were joined on the men's side by Keeton Adams.
