INDIANAPOLIS – University of Indianapolis seniors Brynhildur Traustadottir and Brayden Cole have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Athletes of the Week in women's and men's swimming and diving, respectively, it was announced by the league office Wednesday. 


WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Brynhildur Traustadottir, #4 Indianapolis

• Won 1650 freestyle in 16:59.45, improving on NCAA B-cut time
• Earns second career Athlete of the Week Award (1/31/24, 1/11/24)
• Last Greyhounds' Athlete of the Week: Andrea Gomez (1/17/24) 

MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Brayden Cole, #1 Indianapolis

• Won 400 medley relay (3:17.13) with second-leg split of 53:52
• Finished second in 100 breaststroke in 54.13
• Earns first career Athlete of the Week Award
