INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis formally introduced Kim Pate as its next Director of Intercollegiate Athletics on Monday afternoon from the Enders Engagement Space in Schwitzer Student Center on campus.
 
University President Dr. Tanuja Singh welcomed Pate with warm words, boasting the hire as a gigantic step forward for the institution.

Once Pate took the stage, she immediately showed gratitude toward former UIndy Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics as a mentor.

Pate began her duties as Director of Intercollegiate Athletics on Monday after attending her first UIndy athletics contest over the weekend: a milestone victory for UIndy volleyball head coach Jason Reed as the Greyhounds knocked off No. 20 Quincy from the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center.
