Hounds Stay Put in USILA National Poll

BALTIMORE - Despite suffering its first loss of the season over the weekend, the UIndy men's lacrosse team remained at No. 9 in the latest USILA coaches poll, released Monday.

The Greyhounds are now set for a top-15 matchup in their home opener on Saturday, as 13th-ranked Mercyhurst visits Key Stadium for a 12 p.m. faceoff. The Lakers hold the all-time series advantage, 4-3.

Lenoir-Rhyne, which defeated UIndy on Saturday, remained atop the poll with 21 first-place votes. Five South Region programs make up the top seven, with Rollins, Limestone, and Tampa rounding out the top four.

The complete poll can be found here.
