NEW ORLEANS - The UIndy women's track and field team was ranked 15th in DII in the recent release of the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Indoor Index. The Greyhounds are the only team to represent the GLVC in the top 25.
The index is a point point-based system, and three Hounds are contributing points for UIndy.
Sabrina Robison is fourth overall in the pole vault, contributing 15.77 points.
Zoe Pentecost has the most points with 23.42, she is ranked number one in the country in the weight throw. Finally,
Ellie Lengerich has added points for her 12th-ranked pentathlon score of 3,790. Lengerich added 4.40 points to UIndy's total of 43.58.
All three Greyhounds will compete in the NCAA DII Championships this weekend in Pittsburg, Kan. The national meet is slated to begin on Friday, March 8, and last through March 9.
