INDIANAPOLIS - The UIndy men's lacrosse team remained No. 4 in the final poll of NCAA DII Regional Rankings for the 2024 regular season, released Wednesday. Ranked fourth, the Greyhounds are currently in a position to host a first-round game on Wednesday, March 8.
The Hounds are currently 11-4 and will square off with Lewis in a GLVC semifinal on Thursday at 5 p.m. ET.
UIndy has earned a berth in each of the past four NCAA tournaments, including a run to the national semifinal in 2019 in just its fourth season as a program. The Greyhounds advanced to the regional semis last spring.
The complete 12-team field will be announced on NCAA.com on Sunday, May 5. The top six teams in each the North and South Regions will earn a berth in this year's dance, with the No. 1-2 seeds receiving a bye to the national quarterfinals. The DII National Championship is scheduled for Sunday, May 26, in Philadelphia.
