NEW ORLEANS - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) awarded four student-athletes from the UIndy men's and women's track & field teams Midwest All-Region honors. The top five individuals from each individual event per region earn All-Region honors.
 
Alex Meyer was the sole Greyhound from the men's team to be named All-Regio. The freshman earned the award in the long jump. Meyer reached 7.53m during the outdoor season and will compete at the DII National Championships in this event.
 
Next up is Zoe Pentecost. Pentecost is currently ranked first in the DII in the hammer throw with a mark of 62.74m. With this mark, the junior now holds the UIndy school record in the event.
 
Sabrina Robison All-Region in the pole vault. The senior broke the Greyhound record after clearing 4.27m. Robison heads into Nationals ranked fifth overall.
 
Finally, Ellie Lengerich earned Midwest All-Region in two different events. The junior earned the honors in the 400m hurdles and the heptathlon. Now holding the school records in both events, clocking 1:01.11 in the hurdles and earning 4968 points in the hep.
