LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The UIndy softball team slipped one spot to No. 2 in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Poll. After spending last week at the top of the poll, the Greyhounds garnered four first-place votes this week, but West Texas A&M took the bulk of the votes to retake the top spot.

The Hounds are on the eve of their region-high 16th consecutive appearance in the NCAA postseason. UIndy is set to host one of two
DII Midwest Regionals starting Thursday. The Greyhounds will face off with GLVC-champ Missouri S&T at 11 a.m. ET.
