Football Vaults Three Spots In DII Coaches Poll

WACO, Texas – Coming off its second straight 50-point performance, the UIndy football team climbed three rungs to No. 15 in this week's AFCA DII Coaches Poll, released Monday. The Greyhounds are fresh off a 56-13 road rout at Missouri S&T and have now won five consecutive contests.

The Greyhound leapfrogged former top-10 teams UT Permain Basin, Minnesota-Duluth and Angelo State, who all three lost last week. The Hounds remain the lone GLVC school in the rankings and one of eight Super Region 3 teams to appear in the poll. UIndy also ranks in the top 20 in the in the D2Football.com media poll, coming in at No. 16 for the second straight week.
