INDIANAPOLIS—The UIndy men's and women's track and field teams are sending eight student-athletes to the NCAA DII Indoor Track and Field Championships in the Circle City.  The three-day meet will take place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in the Fall Creek Pavilion. This year, nationals, along with wrestling and swim and dive, are part of the
2025 DII Winter Festival.

First to compete for the Greyhounds will be
Ellie Lengerich in the Pentathlon on Thursday, Mar. 13, starting at 11:30 a.m. The senior will compete in the five-event multi competition with 15 other athletes from around the country. This is the second consecutive year that Lengerich will compete in the event, last year she placed 10th and broke the school record with 3751 points.

On Friday, the remaining seven Greyhounds will have their moment on the track.
Alex Meyer will compete in two events, the long jump and the high jump. Meyer will start his day with the long jump at noon and follow with the high jump at 2 p.m. This is the sophomore's first time at indoor nationals, he did compete in the long jump at outdoors' last spring.

Reigning National Champion,
Zoe Pentecost will return to the weight throw competition. Pentecost, a three-time All-American in the vent, will be joined by
Audra Hogan. Hogan will compete in her national meet. The women's weight throw is slated to begin at 12:15 on Friday.

Josue Le Cadre is slated to compete in the 800m with the fastest time in the field. The newcomer from France, will race for the spot in the finals on Friday at 2:55 p.m. If he succeeds, the 800m finals will be at 4:10 p.m. the following day.

Along with Le Cadre,
Josiah Adams,
Felix Rivet and
Tom Saint-Juvin will take on the distance medley relay (DMR). This will be the first UIndy squad to compete in the 1600m relay. The Greyhounds enter with the ninth-best time of 9:41.19.
