NEW ORLEANS - Seven members of the UIndy men's and women's track and field teams were named All-Region by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The Greyhounds, a member of the Midwest Region, is featured in six different events. Student-athletes are named All-Region if they are a top-five individual in an event or a part of a top-three relay team.
Ellie Lengerich and
Josue Le Cadre were named Midwest All-Region in two separate events. Lengerich earned hers in the high jump and the pentathlon, which she is a national qualifier in. Le Cadre was named All-Region in the 800m and as a member of the Greyhounds' DMR team. The other members in the DMR are honored was
Josiah Adams,
Felix Rivet, and
Tom Saint-Juvin.
Alex Meyer and
Zoe Pentecost are the final two Hounds who earned Midwest All-Region. Meyer earned his in the long jump and Pentecost in the weight throw.
