Ward Lands All-GLVC Honorable Mention Nod

INDIANAPOLIS - Graduate student Ebony Ward was selected to the GLVC All-Conference Honorable Mention team, it was announced by the league office Thursday. 

The Downers Grove native led the Greyhounds with a 180.3 Traditional average, and placed in the top-40 in four tournaments, with the highest individual finishing position of 11th in the Valpo Classic. Her highest total in the 2025 campaign was a 267, and rolled over 220 on eight occasions. Ward will go down as the first athlete in program history to receive All-Conference recognition. 

The league also recognized one student-athlete from each team as honorees for the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award, with Emily Heldman receiving the vote for the Hounds. The student-athletes chosen are individuals who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These individuals must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting. 

The Greyhounds will face McKendree in the opening round of the GLVC Women's Bowling Championship Tournament tomorrow, March 21, at 8:30 AM.
