INDIANAPOLIS – University of Indianapolis freshman Cheyenne Eads was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Pitcher of the Week in softball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

• Allowed three earned runs in three starts (22 innings), including two complete-game shutouts
  • Picked up the win in each start, improving to 15-9 on the season
• Struck out 25 batters
• Gave up 14 hits and five walks, posting a 0.86 WHIP
• Highlighted by shutout performance in 1-0 victory over Illinois Springfield, allowing six hits and two walks while punching out seven hitters
• Tossed 9 1/3 shutout innings against nationally-recognized McKendree before giving up three runs but held on for the win
• Earns second career Pitcher of the Week Award (2/17/25)
