ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Cameron Young of the UIndy men's golf team caps his season at the NCAA DII Midwest/Central Regional. Hosted by Missouri Western at St. Joseph Country Club, Young competed as an individual at the event. The Englishman tied for 44th at the end of the tournament, finishing eight over par.
SATURDAY
Young started the day -2 after the front nine but struggled in during the final nine holes. A double bogey and four bogies added to the sophomore's score, putting him at +4 (75) on the day.
FRIDAY
The sophomore shot +3 (74) during the second round, putting him at +4 after 26 holes. Young shot one under par during the front nine, but two double bogies on the back nine hurt his score.
THURSDAY
Young shot +1 (72) after the first 18 holes for his share of 13th place. The sophomore accumulated four bogies to three birdies on the par 71 course. The English native's birdies came during the back nine to move him up in the rankings.
