AUSTIN, Texas – The 2025 Division II Baseball Academic All-America® Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, was released Tuesday. The annual list recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. UIndy standout Austin Bode was among those selected to the Academic All-America® Third Team, and adds a sixth honor to his stellar 2025 campaign. 

UIndy ended its season with a 34-24 overall record and a third straight berth to the NCAA DII Super Regional under Midwest Region Coach of the Year Al Ready. Bode was a key contributor to Hounds' success, as he produced a .392 batting average, a .665 slugging percentage, and had a .484 on-base percentage. He also led the conference in doubles (24) and hits (83), while ranking in the top 10 in the conference in OPS (1.148), RBIs (48) and runs scored (56).
