Wingate, N.C. – The NCBWA'S All-American teams were announced, with Austin Bode receiving an honorable mention in the 2025 edition of this year's teams.

This is the third consecutive year in which the Greyhounds have had a player on the NCBWA All-American teams, joining the likes of Drew Donaldson (2024) and Xavier Rivas (2022). Bode is also only the second ever Greyhound outfielder to be named to the NCBWA All-American team. Tom Horny, in 1997, is the only other outfielder to be recognized on the NCBWA All-American team, when he slashed a .457 batting average, and an .833 slugging percentage in the 1997 season, that both rank third all-time in Greyhound history.

This honorable mention is Bode's fifth award of the 2025 season, as he picked up first-team acknowledgments on the; ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Midwest, D2CCA All-Midwest Region, NCBWA All-Midwest Regional, and All-GLVC first teams.

Bode joins a select list of Greyhounds to be named to the NCBWA All-American teams, becoming the 13th Greyhound to be included on the list. This season Bode slashed a .392 batting average, a .665 slugging percentage, and had a .484 on-base percentage. He led the conference in doubles (24), and hits (83), while also ranking top-10 in the conference in; OPS (1.148), RBis (48) and runs scored (56).

The Hounds 2025 season came to an end in the team's third straight Super Regional appearance to Northwood, but will return a lot of fire power for the 2026 campaign that will look to send them to their third College World Series in the past four seasons.
