GREENSBORO, N.C. – The postseason's third set of baseball all-region awards were released Wednesday, with
Austin Bode appearing on the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Midwest first-team. This first team honor is Bode's fourth of the 2025 season, as he also picked up first-team mentions on the;
D2CCA All-Midwest Region,
NCBWA All-Midwest Regional, and
All-GLVC first teams.
This the third time in the last four seasons that the Greyhounds have had a player on the D2CCA, NCBWA, All-GLVC and ABCA/Rawlings first teams. The last two players to do the same as Bode were
Drew Donaldson in 2023, and
Xavier Rivas in 2022.
Bode joins an extensive list of Greyhounds to be named to the ACBA/Rawlings first team, becoming the 16th Greyhound to be included on the ACBA/Rawlings first team. This season Bode slashed a .392 batting average, a .665 slugging percentage, and had a .484 on-base percentage. He also lead the conference in doubles (24), and hits (83), while also ranking top-10 in the conference in; OPS (1.148), RBis (48) and runs scored (56).
Bode and the rest of the Greyhounds will look to continue their run of dominance in the 2026 campaign, by earning the teams fourth straight Super Regional appearance, and third College World Series appearance in four seasons.
