The 2025 UIndy football opener is less than a week away, and the Greyhounds—as well as their fans—have been presented with one of the shortest road trips in all of college football. UIndyAthletics.com is here to make the trip even easier with all the info you need ahead of the "Monumental Matchup."
 
THE BASICS
Thursday, August 28, 6 p.m.
at Marian University and Ascension St. Vincent Field
 
TICKETS
Fans are encouraged to buy tickets online EARLY. Prices for the premier matchup will begin at $20 for general admission, with special $10 rates available for:

• UIndy students with a valid student ID
• Children age 10 and under
• Active and non-active military personnel
• Senior Citizens age 65 and older    

 
TRAVEL ISSUES
Fans should note that the 30th Street Bridge over the White River is currently closed, affecting one of the routes to Marian's campus. Please plan accordingly and consider allotting extra time for travel.
 
TAILGATING
UIndy will have its own space in the tailgating lot. The location is near the Steffan Music Center (building No. 29 on the campus map). With the Greyhound Club and the UIndy Alumni Association in full force, tailgating time will run from 4-5:45 p.m. and will only be allowed in the designated lot. Spaces are available for $10 on a first-come, first-serve basis. Admission price will be CASH ONLY.
 
 
OTHER REMINDERS

• Digital First Ticketing: All tickets purchased online are eTickets only. Tickets can be purchased onsite while available.
• Re-Entry Policy: Each ticket is valid for a single entry to Ascension St. Vincent Field. No re-entry will be allowed.
• Clear Bag Policy: Only clear bags 12" x 12" x 6" or smaller are permitted. Small handbags and clutches are also permitted.

 
CAN'T MAKE IT?
The Monumental Matchup will air on television locally on MYIndy-TV 23. Additionally, the game will air on the ISC Sports Network and the Urban Edge Network. ISC will produce the game, with UIndy alum and media personality Greg Rakestraw joining the call as the sideline analyst.
