INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis athletic department announced its departmental grade point average for the fall semester, with 663 student-athletes combining for a lofty 3.39 GPA. Individually, 369 Greyhounds managed a 3.5 or better while 94 had a perfect 4.0.

Twenty-four of the department's 25 programs compiled a team GPA of at least 3.0 this fall, including 13 teams with a GPA north of 3.5. Women's golf led the way with a 3.800 team GPA, followed by women's volleyball (3.695), women's triathlon (3.671) and women's tennis (3.664). Men's soccer paced the men's teams with a 3.630 GPA, with men's golf a close second at 3.545. As a whole, UIndy student-athletes have combined for a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 for 15 consecutive semesters.
