NEW ORLEANS— As the Greyhounds prepare for this weekend's GLVC Indoor Conference meet at the ARC the men's track and field squad comes in at No. 11 in the latest USTFCCCA Track and Field Rating Index (TFRI).
The Greyhounds hold a total of 56.90 points in the rating index, led by Josue Le Cadre, giving his squad 23.32 individual points with his first-place ranking in the 800m and #23 rating in the mile. The Frenchman is joined by Junior Alex Meyer who's No. 8 spot in the long jump, bringing UIndy 8.82 points in the TFRI. Yanis Le Mouillour's rank in the 800m adds 5.59 points to his squad's total with fellow Frenchman Felix Rivet adding 5.16 points with his performances in the 3,000m and mile. Dylan Mayhew also contributes to his squad's rating, coming in at 26th in the weight throw on the national list.
UIndy gains 13.58 points in the TFRI from the fifth-ranked distance medley relay team of Le Cadre, Lateef Mustafaa, Le Mouillour, and Rivet.
Grand Valley holds on to their top ranking with 237.87 points while the Hounds remain the highest nationally ranked team from the GLVC with Missouri S&T three spots behind at #14.
