SUNDAY
The newcomers made way for the women's squad, with five of the eight medal performances coming from athletes in their first season with the Greyhounds.

Sophomore Vivian Osagie dominated the women's shot put competition, with over a meter separating her from the rest of the field. Osagie also took down the GLVC championship record that was untouched for seven years, with her winning mark of 15.61m, just less than a meter ahead of UIndy alumna Katie Monk's 2019 championship toss of 14.75m.

In the jumps, Francesca Maurino took two medals on championship Sunday to give the Hounds an edge, taking home gold as the only competitor to clear 1.71m, after a second-place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 11.98m.

The Freshman of the Year came in clutch for the Hounds, earning a higher than she was seeded, finishing second in the 400m with a new school record 55.94 in the finals in the closest finish of the weekend, just two thousandths of a second off gold. The Ben Davis was the anchor in the Greyhounds' fourth-place 4x400m team that sealed the conference championship. The squad entered the final race of the weekend just two points ahead of the Lewis Flyers, the team of Jorjia Ferguson, Brailey Hoagland, Ashley Sanderson, and Rhodes, bested their qualifying time by two seconds to help end UIndy's 16-year indoor track and field championship drought.

Four freshmen gave the Hounds points in the women's pole vault as the Hounds took second through sixth in the event. Ann Elise Sloan added six points to her squad's total with her third-place finish, clearing the bar on her second attempt at 3.64m. While newcomers made their mark at UIndy, experience filled vital roles for the team as VanBibber brought home silver in the pole vault after clearing 3.64m on her first attempt.

Senior Hailey Orosz had a stellar performance in the mile. Entering the race ranked third in the conference, the Hobart, Ind. native took control of the race, pushing past Drury's Cara Eckenroth in the last 100m of the race, to steal the gold with a time of 5:04.49.

For the men the No. 1-ranked 800m squad in the nation completed the podium sweep, led by Josue Le Cadre who clocked 1:51.67 for gold. Just behind him, Yanis Le Mouillour and freshman Jacob Chapman brought the Hounds silver and bronze medals in the race.

Le Cadre was the highest UIndy finisher in the men's mile, finishing second with a provisional time of 4:10.18. The Hounds got eleven more points out of the event with three more top eight finishers in Ian Pugh (fourth), Felix Rivet (fifth) and Yanis Le Mouillour (sixth).

Senior Amarion Conyers earned a new personal record and provisional mark in the high jump after being one of only two to clear 2.08 m to earn his first All-Conference honors and second in the event. Alexander Shaevits and Alex Meyer added 7.5 points to Conyers's eight to give the Hounds a boost.

Rivet secured his first medal of the day in a stacked men's 3,000m race, taking bronze with a time of 8:29.5.

Riley Buroff, Kevion Mitchell, and the men's 4x400 team of Lateef Mustafaa Chapman and Buroff added to their team's cause, finishing in the top eight in Sunday's running events. The Hounds earned 12 points from the men's shot put with Dylan Mayhew, Bryson Adams, and William Kemper taking fourth through sixth in the event, while all three of the men's multis scored points, led by senior Cole Hurt. Aiden DeLaTorre and Frank Decker finished just behind the senior, taking sixth and eighth place.

Sophomore Loria Snowden supported Osagie in the women's shot put, taking bronze with a toss of 13.86m. Amanda Noel and Macie Swinehart added to the Hounds' total with fifth and sixth-place finishes in the event.

In addition to her role in the 4x400m relay, freshman Brailey Hoagland earned more points for UIndy with an eighth-place finish in the 60m.

SATURDAY
Jorjia Ferguson started the weekend off right for the Greyhounds, earning the program's first medal of the weekend with a second-place finish in the women's Pentathlon.

After chasing the indoor program record in the men's long jump all season, Meyer leaped right past it on his third attempt with a provisional mark of 7.53m for gold. The junior broke the previous record by four centimeters and now holds both the indoor and outdoor program records in the long jump.

The men's weight throw competition saw a field with six provisional competitors, half of them being Greyhounds. Mayhew furthered his personal best on his second-to-last throw with a heave of 20.17m to take bronze. Kemper and Tyler Biddinger added support for the event, both finishing with new personal bests to take fourth and sixth, respectively.

The Greyhounds continue their women's weight GLVC first-place streak with Swinehart securing the gold with a toss of 17.39 m, just two centimeters in front of her teammate Maya Efodi. Annie Thoman made it to the finals after her first-flight toss of 16.47m to take fifth for the UIndy, who would earn two more points in the event from Amanda Noel with a seventh-place finish.

Amiah Rhodes earned her first conference points in a UIndy uniform with her jump of 5.62m in the long jump, taking fifth for her team.

Keywuan Taylor earned his first All-Conference honors in a three-way tie for bronze, clearing the bar at 4.51m. Freshman Frank Decker secured an eighth-place finish to add to his team's total.

Both distance medley relay teams provided big points for their respective teams' totals, with the no. 7 nationally ranked team of Le Cadre, Mustafaa, Le Mouillour and Rivet easily taking first, nearly 11 seconds in front of the second-place Drury team. The women's relay team of Savannah Danielson, Marina Agapios and Sophia Stadler shaved off 27 seconds from their entry time to take bronze with a time of 12:16.55 in Saturday's final event.
