INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis sophomore second baseman Peyton Cusack and freshman pitcher Caitlin Bunte were named Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions weekly award winners in softball, it was announced by the league office Monday. 
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK

• Went 7-for-8 (.875) with four walks, recording a .917 on-base percentage
• Smashed two doubles for a 1.125 slugging percentage
• Drove in one run and scored six herself
• Highlighted by performance in first game against UIS, reaching base in all four plate appearances with one single, one double, and two walks
• Notched multiple hits in three out of four games
• Recorded go-ahead, two-out RBI single in sixth inning to help UIndy win first game against No. 16 McKendree
• Earns first career Player of the Week Award
