2008 game-by-game statistics

2008:  Excelled on the mound and at the plate… made six starts on the hill while also garnering a team high-tying four saves…compiled a 3.66 ERA in 46.2 innings of work…struck out five in three scoreless innings to earn a save at West Georgia (2/10)…pitched one inning of hitless relief at UW-Parkside (3/29) before returning for a start the following day and allowing just one run in eight solid frames versus the Rangers…cleanly handled all 181 chances in the field…hit a solid .346 in 78 at bats…went 5-for-5 with three runs versus SIUE (4/16)…notched two four-RBI games.

Before UIndy:   Played two seasons at Redlands Community College for former Greyhound standout and assistant coach Matt Newgent…hit .381 as a sophomore while finishing in the top 25 in the NJCAA Division II in doubles (9th) and RBI (23rd).

High School:  Four-year letterman on the baseball diamond…dubbed all-conference three times and all-county twice…garnered all-state accolades as a senior.

Personal:  Criminal Justice major…son of Steve and Karen…born 5/9/86.
