2009:  No. 1 starter went 10-3 on the season, good for a share of the fifth-highest single-season win total in program history…named First Team All-Midwest Region by both Daktronics and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)…also named First Team All-GLVC…ranked second in the league in wins and third in Ks…racked up 88 strikeouts to tie for the 10th-highest total in school history…also helped the staff set a new team record for strikeouts in a season (516)…led the squad with four complete games and two shutouts…amassed a team-high 10.5 strikeouts per nine innings…pitched a two-hitter while striking out 15 in just seven innings vs. Lewis (3/28)…followed that with a 10-strikeout performance in a win at Ky. Wesleyan (4/4)…beat USI at the NCAA regional, allowing just two runs in seven innings while striking out 10 (5/15).

Before UIndy:  Pitched two seasons at Rend Lake College…spent both seasons as a conference starter…earned team's "Best Pitcher Award" while averaging seven strikeouts per game as a sophomore…drafted in the 44th round (1,340 overall) of the 2008 MLB First-Year Player Draft by the Cleveland Indians.

High School:  Four-year letterwinner in baseball at South Fulton.
