LOUISVILLE- The UIndy cross country squads both competed at the NCAA Regional Saturday at Tom Sawyer State Park.
The men's team took 18th overall of 21 teams at the race, while the UIndy women finished 16th of 22 teams.
Mark Martinez had the best overall finish of any Greyhound, taking 28th in the men's race. Martinez covered the course in 32:20.16. The next closest men's competitor was
Josh Gornall, who posted a time of 33:47.32 to take 84th overall.
On the women's side,
Stephanie Cave led the Greyhounds with a 42nd-place finish. Cave crossed the finish line in 22:55.78, with her closest teammate,
Sutton Knapp crossing in 24:08.71 to take 95th overall.
The NCAA Regional closes out competition for the UIndy harriers this season.
