GREYHOUNDS IN TOURNAMENT PLAY: UIndy is now 8-26-2 all-time in GLVC Championship Tournament matches, including Sunday's 2-0 upset victory over three-seed Missouri-St. Louis at Don Dallas Stadium in STL.

This season marks the Greyhounds' seventh trip to the GLVC semifinals, with UIndy appearing in the GLVC Championship match twice in program history (2010 & 2013). The Greyhounds have never won a GLVC Championship Tournament title, in 34 years of playing soccer in the GLVC.

UINDY AGAINST DRURY: All-time, the Greyhounds are 5-7 versus Drury, which joined the GLVC in 2005. In postseason play, UIndy is 1-1 versus the Panthers, who defeated the Greyhounds 2-1 in the first round of the 2008 GLVC Tournament, with UIndy taking revenge for that loss in last year's GLVC semifinals with a 3-2 OT victory.

This season, however, UIndy lost to Drury in regular season play, falling to the Panthers 1-0 in Springfield, Mo. September 19 in just the second GLVC weekend of the season. Read the recap from the UIndy/Drury tilt Oct. 19 and view the box score here.

THE PANTHERS: Drury is coming off of an 1-0 win over tournament seven-seed Missouri S&T in Springfield, Mo. in GLVC quarterfial action last Sunday. Nick Ammann scored just 14 minutes into the match, with the Panthers holding on for the victory to advance to their third GLVC semifinal in the past four seasons.

Drury finished the 2014 season 9-0 at home, with the Panthers' 15 wins this season ties for the second most in the program's history. Drury is currently winners of nine of their last 10 matches.

TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW: The winner of Friday afternoon's first semifinal match advances to play the winner of No. 1 Quincy and No. 4 Lewis Sunday at 1:00 p.m, CST. The host Hawks and Lewis play the second semi-final match at 7:30 CST Friday night. View an updated bracket of the 2014 GLVC Men's Soccer Tournament here.

GERMAN HAT TRICK: Daniel Wellman notched a trio of goals, good for the first Greyhound hat trick in more than two years, in the final regular season match of 2014 at Saint Joseph's Oct. 29. Wellmann scored the first three of UIndy's goals in the match, with the third coming on a free kick chance that the German native bent over the SJC wall of players and into the top corner of the frame. The last UIndy hat trick came Oct. 7, 2012, when Reid Strain notched three goals in UIndy's win over Illinois-Sprinfield in GLVC play.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Daniel Wellmann and Andrew Verhonik each earned their second career GLVC Player of the Week honors during the second-to-last week of the season, with Wellmann earning the offensive player of the week, and Verhonik taking the defensive honor. The UIndy sweep of the weekly honors was the first in program history for the Greyhounds.

POTENT OFFENSE: Powered by 11 different Greyhounds scoring goals and 12 notching assists on the year, UIndy has outscored its opponents 32-12 in 2014. Daniel Wellmann's eight goals lead the UIndy offense, while Ngwese Ebangwese's six assists top the Greyhound leaders.

STINGY UINDY: The Greyhounds' 12 goals given up on the season is good for the best in UIndy men's soccer program history. The UIndy back line has given up more than one goal in a match just once this season, Oct. 19 versus Maryville at Key Stadium, while the Greyhounds have seven shutouts on the year.

THE YOUNGEST GREYHOUND: Braden Tamosaitis, a 9-year-old Camby, Ind. native, joined the Greyhounds this season through TeamIMPACT, an organization that seeks to give a social aspect to children who have been affected by a life-threatening illness or injury through matching them with a college/university athletic team. Braden, who wears #10 along with Zak Mitiche, made his first start Oct. 17 versus UMSL for UIndy.
