GREYHOUNDS VS. FINDLAY
Tuesday's quarterfinal will be played roughly 54 hours after Sunday's regular season finale between the Greyhounds and Oilers at Key Stadium. UIndy ran away in the second half for an
18-7 victory, led by a record-setting 11 points from senior
Chalane Morrison. Freshman
Grace Gunneson added six goals and
Hannah Burczyk potted a hat trick of her own.
UIndy is 2-1 all-time against Findlay, splitting last season's two meetings.
SCOUTING THE OILERS
Findlay enters Tuesday's game 7-10 overall, having lost three games in a row. The Oilers are led by first-year coach Lauren Simko.
Offensively, senior Kyra Bradley ranks fourth in the GLIAC with 48 goals and sixth with 64 points. Sophomore Hannah Peebles is sixth in the conference with 22 assists.
Findlay has the top two individuals in ground balls per game in the GLIAC in junior Natalie Fury (2.65) and freshman Ciara Burud (2.47). Fury also paces the team in caused turnovers with 40.
Between the pipes, Findlay has featured both sophomore Claire Ferrell (4-6) and junior Rachel Heath (3-3) this season. Ferrell got the start Sunday, playing all 60 minutes while recording 16 saves and 18 goals against.

GREYHOUNDS IN THE GLIAC TOURNAMENT
This is the second appearance in the year-end tournament. Last season, the Hounds fell 18-11 in the quarterfinal round at McKendree.
UNCHARTED TERRITORY
The Hounds have made significant strides since the 2016 inaugural season, when they finished 6-12 overall. UIndy has doubled its win total in two fewer games, and finished third in the GLIAC after a fifth-place finish in 2016.
Team and individual records are also being written by the 2017 squad. Aside from setting a single-season wins record back on April 7 at Lake Erie, they set the program standard for goals and margin of victory in a 26-3 rout over Northern Michigan (April 23).
Individually, Morrison's aforementioned 11-point output Sunday broke teammate
Anna Rulapaugh's 10-point outburst in the season opener against Lee (Feb. 11). Morrison also set the record for goals in a game with eight at Shepherd (Mar. 10). The two attackers are both over 70 points this season, easily surpassing the 52 points from Morrison a season ago.
Gunneson's 36 goals are a record for a Greyhound freshman, and classmate
Riley McClure's 26 caused turnovers and counting this season are the most by any individual.
