Also, listen to a student-led audio-only stream at UIndyRadio.com or listen on the radio at 88.7 FM WICR.

ABOUT WILLIAM JEWELL
After starting the season with a 29-9 non-conference win against Southwest Baptist, the Cardinals have dropped their last three decisions, including a 41-24 home loss to Missouri S&T last weekend. Nevertheless, junior QB Will Schneider threw for a career-high 369 yards and three touchdowns versus the Miners. Schneider, who is the Cardinals' second-leading rusher, ranks 16th in Division II in total yards per game (290.3 ypg) on the season.

HOUNDS vs. CARDINALS
UIndy has won six of the seven all-time meetings with Jewell. Since the lone defeat in 2014, UIndy has won of the last four contests by an average of 29 points. Last season, the Hounds used a relentless pass rush to earn a 41-14 victory. UIndy sacked the aforementioned Schneider 12 times, good for the second-highest single-game total in GLVC history. Seven Hounds were credited with at least a half sack that evening, including Indy native Alec Patch, who finished the day with a career-high four.

LAST TIME OUT
UIndy used a total team effort to hand visiting Southwest Baptist a 49-6 defeat during last weekend's Homecoming contest. UIndy racked up more than 45 points for the third straight week while holding the Bearcats to just 167 total yards. In addition, SBU's point total was the lowest for a Greyhound opponent since Wayne State managed just six points against the Hounds in week two of last year.

PICK-12
The Hounds notched a pair of interception return TDs last week, both in a span of just three offensive snaps by the Bearcats. Ryan Guhl delivered the team's first pick-six of the season, corralling a batted ball and taking it 12 yards to the house. On the very next Bearcat drive, senior linebacker Joe Lambright jumped an out route and sprinted 40 yards for the score. The last time the Greyhounds had two interception returns in a single game? 2011 versus Saginaw Valley.

ANSWER THE BELL
Junior wideout Daveon Bell needed just three catches to amass 124 receiving yards and two touchdowns last week. Bell, who also added 78 punt return yards for a team season-high 212 all-purpose yards, is the first Greyhound since Greg Johnson in 2013 to notch a 100-yard receiving game on three catches or less.

BLOCK PARTY
Continuing the "first since..." theme from last week, UIndy had its first blocked extra-point attempt since 2017. After the Bearcats finally got on the board with a touchdown late in the fourth quarter, junior Cory Klem raised a big paw and batted down the PAT to keep the Bearcats at six points.

GOIN' STREAKIN'
The Hounds' Homecoming victory against Southwest Baptist made it 20 consecutive wins versus GLVC opponents. UIndy's last conference lost came back in October of 2016 at Quincy. The active streak is just two shy of the GLVC's all-time record of 22 consecutive victories, set by UIndy from 2012-2014 and ended by Jewell.

IN A RUSH
Two of the major focuses for first-year head coach Chris Keevers and his Greyhounds this season have been rushing the ball and stopping the rush. UIndy has had measurable success in both departments, ranking 11th in DII in rushing offense (263.0 ypg) and 22nd in rushing defense (82.3 ypg). The offense  has amassed more than 200 rushing yards in three of the four games this season, including two 300-yard performances, while the UIndy D has limited its opponent to under 60 rushing yards three times already this season.

GREYHOUND ASCENDING
Al McKeller's meteoric rise up the program's all-time rushing lists is undeniable. The hometown product and 2018 GLVC Offensive Player of the Year is barely into his third collegiate season and is already among the school's career leaders in rushing yards and rushing TDs. He is within striking distance of both school records in just his junior season (see below) and is looking to become the first-ever Greyhound with three 1,000-yard-rushing seasons.
